Artwork

Are the works of art all originals on-line?

Yes, all artwork shown in the Virtual Exhibitions Gallery and Obtainable Art Gallery are original and created by the artists. Any photography and prints represented on the site are produced in limited edition quantities and each is hand signed and numbered.

If I am interested in a specific artwork, how can I purchase it?

Contact us and provide the name of the artist, title of the work, etc. and we will provide you with pricing information.

How do I pay for the artwork?

Payment for the artwork on-line is by credit/debit card only through a secure online checkout. Payment for artwork in on-site exhibitions can be made by check, money order or credit/debit card.

Will I have to pay shipping and handling charges?

Yes, you are responsible for shipping and handling charges outside of the price of the artwork. Contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you with the most economical shipping alternatives.

Can the artwork I want to purchase be deliverable to my home or other location?

Yes, the artwork can be delivered to any street address in the United States and abroad. We will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

How long will I have to wait for my artwork to arrive?

Most of the artwork sent in the Continental U.S. will take up to 14 days to arrive.

What precautions are taken to ship/deliver my artwork(s) safely?

Each work of art is hand packaged by the artist based on its unique characteristics to ensure safe shipping. Every precaution is taken to ensure that the artwork will arrive safely based on the mailing/shipping service, location/destination of the client’s address, and shipping requirements. We recommend shipping insurance for all artwork as an added precaution.

What if I don’t like the artwork when I receive it?

Authentic Contemporary Art has a 7-Day Money Back Guarantee with each purchase. It is our goal to ensure that our clients are 100% satisfied with their artwork and our services. Our 7-day trial period makes your purchase with us risk-free. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund, less shipping and handling charges, by notifying us within seven days of your receipt of the artwork. The artwork must be returned in the same condition as it was received, or the client will be charged the full price of the artwork or a fee for repair.

I see something I like but would like to reserve it and buy it later. Can this be done?

Yes, in order to reserve an artwork, a non-refundable deposit that equals a third of the price of the artwork is required. You will have up to 3 months to purchase the artwork or it will be placed back for sale. Please contact us with your request and the artwork information to place your artwork on reserve. This applies to work on-line or in a live exhibition.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, you can cancel an order ONLY if it has not shipped to the receiving address. Please note that we strive to ship artwork within 48 hours of receipt of an order and full payment placed Monday-Friday. If the artwork was shipped, the client must receive the work, and return it unopened to Raandesk.  Once the work has been received in good condition, we will issue a full refund, less shipping charges.  For more information please see '7-day Money Back guarantee,' above.

 

 

Art Services

Do you broker art or sell art from existing collections?

No, we do not provide brokerage services at this time nor do we represent clients in selling artwork from their private collections. We can refer you to art professionals who have expertise in this area.

Do you still provide art advisory or consulting services?

We no longer provide art advisory services or consulting to clients. However, depending on the needs, we can refer you to art professionals that we have relationships with for those services.

Do you still provide framing services?

We no longer provide framing services to clients. However, we can make recommendations to framers (Washington, DC area only) that we have worked with in the past.

Do you curate for galleries or other art spaces?

Yes, we can provide this service. Contact us for details.

Do you represent artists?

We do not represent artists exclusively. Our representation of artists is limited to their specific work featured on-line or in on-site exhibitions, only.

How can I be considered as part of the on-site exhibitions, virtual gallery or Obtainable Art?

You can submit art to be considered in the on-site or virtual exhibitions via the Call for Artists page (coming soon!). If you are interested in being considered for the Obtainable Art gallery, please contact us for specific details.
