Obtainable Art

Authentic Contemporary Art is pleased to launch a new pilot program entitled Obtainable Art where we will sell original art from local (DC/MD/VA) emerging artists at prices up to $500.

Are you an emerging artist that would like to participate?

To be part of this program:

All work must be original
Photographs must be limited to 20 prints maximum
All work must be signed somewhere by the artist
Work must sell for maximum of $500

All artwork will be posted on our blog and highlighted on our e-newsletter which will include a bio of the artist, the mediums and prices of the art. We may also invite you to participate in a mini art show where you can display your work in person. AAC will take a commission on all sales.

If you are interested, please forward 5 jpg images, a bio/resume, artist statement and price list to us at artinfo@authenticartonline.com Within one week, we will contact you if your art fits for the program.

Please note that we are limiting the program to local DC and Baltimore area artists at this time. We do plan to expand to include artists from other areas depending on the success of the program.

Coming Soon: Call to Artists for Virtual Art Exhibitons

Authentic Contemporary Art is taking advantage of the internet to expand opportunities to show the work of emerging artists by introducing Virtual Exhibitions. Beginning in 2009, approximately three online exhibitions will be presented during a calendar year with artwork presented for sale. Local and nationally-based curators will jury and curate on-line digitalized original artwork of artists based on a variety of topics and themes. Artists from across the country are invited to submit artworks based on the theme. ACA presents this opportunity to increase attention to many unknown artists and widens opportunities for clients to discover new works of art from the comfort of home or office.
